Yamaha YWA-10 network adaptor

"If you've got a Yamaha product that hasn't got wireless internet connectivity then you might need this. This adaptor can be plugged

into your Yamaha product to enable it to connect wirelessly to your router, giving you wireless internet access."

We've always found add on wireless adaptors both a blessing and a curse. On the plus side, if you don't need wireless internet connectivity it keeps the cost on the product you've bought down - adding it as a standard setting will usually add around £40 to £50 to the price - so why pay more for something you don't need? However, if you DO need it, invariably it means that you'll have to pay quite a bit extra to get wireless.

So - good for most but an annoyance if you do need it! Some manufacturers therefore go one way and some the other. Yamaha has opted to keep the product price down and make an adaptor if you want wireless - and here it is. The Yamaha YWA-10 plugs into your receiver or Blu-ray player and takes its power from the unit. You can then select your wireless network through your product to get connected. It's pretty simple really and does the trick.
